Training For Vets, By Vets
We offer veterans the opportunity to help out other vets by training a service dog for them, or teaching them to train their own service dog.
Our skilled training staff teaches veterans how to be trainers themselves, so they can train service dogs for others, or if they prefer, teach other veterans how to train the dog they currently have to perform service dog tasks for them.
Recipients learn to handle situations they might encounter with their service dog. Throughout the course, feedback and reflection on training issues and life events within the group creates an environment of mutual support and advocacy for the unique challenges they experience with their service dogs.
